PETRA COVENEY • JUNE 24 – JULY 1
Petra Coveney is the founder and creator of Menopause Yoga™ (2013) and author of the teacher training book ‘Menopause Yoga – a holistic guide to supporting women on their menopause journey,’ (Singing Dragon Books, 2021), which includes a foreword written by Dr Louise Newson. She is a senior yoga teacher and trainer for the British Wheel of Yoga, Yoga Alliance Professionals and Yoga Australia, as well as the first yoga teacher to be accepted into the British Menopause Society. Petra believes in raising awareness of the menopause among women, men, LGBTQ and non-binary people. She volunteers for The Menopause Charity, which was founded by Dr. Louise Newson, by filming free video classes and blogposts on holistic wellbeing. Her corporate work includes Menopause Awareness webinars for companies seeking to support staff and line managers. Due to demand from women and teachers, she created the first professional Menopause Yoga teachers training course in 2019, and has trained over 500+ yoga teachers in more than 40 countries worldwide.
AMANDA THEBE • AUGUST 20 – 27
Amanda Thebe is a Fitness and Women’s Health Expert with nearly thirty years of experience in the fitness industry, she is the author of the Amazon best-selling book, Menopocalypse: How I Learned to Thrive During Menopause and How You Can Too! As Canada’s first menopause coach and educator, Amanda provides on-site or virtual educational presentations in the workplace to improve productivity, retention and attendance for female employees through menopause. Amanda is a popular guest on podcasts, radio, tv and online summits, and her health and fitness tips have been featured in media outlets like Shape, Prevention, Health Line, CBC Radio, Global News Canada, The Doctors, Lifehacker, Breaking Muscle, Girls Gone Strong, and Ultimate Sandbag Training. She lives in Toronto, Ontario.
EMMA BARDWELL • AUGUST 30 – SEPTEMBER 6
Emma Bardwell is a registered nutritionist, author and writer. Her evidence based, no-nonsense approach has made her one of the go-to names in women’s health and nutrition. She set up her educational platform online and across social media with the express intention of helping women feel better during the menopause transition, but also has a special interest in PCOS, fertility and weight loss. Emma combines leading edge research with a 360 degree focus on diet and lifestyle to help optimize wellbeing. She regularly contributes to publications such as Red Magazine, Vogue, The Telegraph, Marie Claire, and is co-author of bestselling book “The Perimenopause Solution”.
DR. SHAHZADI HARPER • SEPTEMBER 9 – 16
Dr. Harper has an understanding of the symptoms and concerns that women face as she herself is one of six sisters and has a grown up daughter. Her areas of expertise include Perimenopause and Menopause, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Premenstrual Stress disorder, Healthy Aging and Weight Management. She believes in the early management of symptoms of perimenopause and menopause to stay youthful and healthy.
Dr. Harper has certificates in Menopause Management, RCGG in Alcohol and Substance Misuse Management, Functional Medicine and training in lasers for skin and vaginal treatments. Dr Harper is also a member of the British Menopause Society, European Andropause and Menopause Society and Primary Care Society of Gastroenterology.
DR. JENN SALIB HUBER, RD ND • SEPTEMBER 19 – 26
Dr. Jenn Salib Huber is a Canadian Registered Dietitian, Naturopathic Doctor and Intuitive Eating Coach and she’s on a mission to help women thrive in midlife.
She helps women navigate the physical and emotional changes that happen in perimenopause and menopause, including their search for food freedom and body confidence. Working from a health at every size approach, she teaches women to become intuitive eaters and build body confidence at any stage of midlife.
